The Blue Economy Consulting Group was founded in 2016 by marine biologist and aquaculture pioneer, Sam Bowman, who is based on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, where salmon farming in Canada had its early beginnings. Drawing on his 40 years of experience in the seafood and aquaculture industries, Sam Bowman has been providing technical advice, marketing strategies, and business development assistance to international companies, non-government organizations, and government agencies, as a consultant and agent during the past 5 years.
